It's that time again, for the Fall 2010 Juried Student Art Show.
We will have a best of 2-D & best of 3-D award this year.
Drop off dates will be the week after Thanksgiving Break.
Monday, November 29 1 - 5 p.m.
Tuesday, November 30 12:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Wednesday, December 1 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Thursday, December 2 1 - 7 p.m.
The exhibition will be on display Tuesday, December 7, 2010 - Thursday, January 27, 2011, closed during Winter break.
The reception will be Wednesday, December 8 from 4 - 6 p.m.--awards announcement at 5 p.m.
Please Note: All 2-D work must be hanging ready - questions about that? Ask any Art Faculty member

Some other guidelines if I remember correctly:
1. work must be presented in a professional manner (clean matting, lacking fingerprints, folds, tears, ready to hang)
2. work must have been completed while you were a student in college (no high school work)
3. work must not have been accepted in previous Kish Juried Student Art Show (but does allow resubmissions of rejected work)
4. we encourage that your submission be an artwork completed within the last 2 years
5. there is no maximum for how many submissions you may make, but they encourage that you be selective and only submit your best work (not everything you have ever made)
6. it may be something you made in class, and/or it may be something that you have done on your own time
Lastly, please participate. We take pride in showing the school that our students have a lot of talent and passion. Our school only knows this if the students participate fully.
